Year 10+ (14-25 years)

At The Equip Centre, YOUTH are like any group of young people, we live for the beach, hanging out, playing great music, skating and eating together. But more than that, we’re committed to getting to know our God in a real and life-shaping way.

One way Equip’s youth ministry tries to assist that is through organised and structured events, as we realise and acknowledge that fellowship is an integral part of personal growth. Beach trips, bus trips, movie nights, sports competitions, barbecues and talent quests, which are all run throughout the year, are just some of the great ways that our youth get together so that they can grow together.

Another important part of the personal growth of the youth of Equip is Youth Lifegroups, which are run weekly on Thursdays from 7.30pm, and provide both an opportunity for youth to get together in a small group setting on a regular basis, and a forum for them to learn, ask questions and get answers to issues which are important to them.

Equip’s youth ministry also runs XF camps during summer and strongly supports the Getsmart Youth Conference, which is run in Auckland.

Our God is great, encouraging us to live life in abundance and nowhere is that more visible than in the young! Youth@Equip is an exciting group to be part of.
