Robert Cooper

Robert is one of the pastors on staff at Equip. He has been married to Christine since 1977 and together they share a passion to help people get connected to God. They have three children; a son Ben who lives with his wife Julia and their two children in Nelson; and two daughters, Somer and Melody who both live in Auckland.

Robert pastors the Bream Bay extension service and also oversees the assimilation of new Christians and guests into church life. In addition he carries the portfolio responsibilities of courses and the internship programme.

Formal training in Human Resources and a keen interest in food lead to a varied early career in the corporate world and as a small business owner in the catering field. Robert has been in ministry since 1996, initially in Nelson and more recently on staff at a large church in Auckland
